So far everything seems to be good. I did a 25% water change today and everything seems to be doing well. The Damsel is coming out of the rocks more than the last ones did. I am feeding every other day a couple of flakes of food. trying to get through this cycle period.

One question, I have what looks like tiny hairs all over the glass, and white dots with what look like little legs coming off of them. Are these OK or do I need to get rid of them? I asked Tonya at The aquarium and she said that they are fine and nothing to worry about. I trust her and was just wanting a second opinion.

Its been a while since I have posted, and wanted to share some more pictures with everyone. Any insight to what my frags are would be helpful. Not really sure and honestly I havent looked yet. I have added a peppermint shrimp to keep the aptasia under control, and have seen a couple cephalapods and brittle stars.

first one looks like green button polps and the second one looks like a type of button polps, 3rd one looks like a mushroom and becarful with them they can spread like wildfire and be evreywhere in your tank.

but looking good how long has it been set up now?? and still just have the one fish?

Its going on two maybe three months now being setup. Yeah Still the same damsel. still debating on what fish to get. Leaning toward a couple false clowns, but not sure. there are a lot of neat ones available.

With a tank that size your kinda limited on number of fish and the size of them, if you can find some small clowns be ok but adding several fish at one time is likely to cause a small cycle

The damsel can get a bit large for that tank so you could take it in on partial exchange for the 2 clowns, i would try and stay with fish that dont get bigger than 2" like clown gobies, they only get about an inch and come in several colors.

Look at liveaquaria.com they have a selection of nano fish and all others with info on them to give you some ideas

The yellow polyps are parazoanthus; the green button polyps are also called palythoa.

Like Alex said - whether you order from them or not, Liveaquaria does have some good info on the compatibility, feeding & tank requirements of the fish they sell, & the nano category is where you want to be looking

another great source is nano-reef, you can definitely do a pair of small clowns.

I’m my 10g I have a yellow watchman, a purple firefish and a six line wrasse. I’m also temporarily housing my small (less than an inch) clown until my biocube finishes its cycle (maybe 2 more weeks max). I'm not having any problems with water quality, im more worried about bullying, which i havent seen any of yet.

I currently have about 10 pounds of LR, but as soon as I get my clown transferred I have 2 more large pieces of LR probably each at least 3 pounds that I will be adding
