Default My first SW tank - 10g - Updated 5/3 w/ new frags

I've been stalking the forum for a while, and figured I’d post my tank build. This is my first saltwater tank, I actually set it up over Christmas break its been up and running and I’ve made many additions to it. Anyway, here it is. If any one has any feedback id be glad to hear it.

Equipment:
10g AGA tank
Current USA PC Retro kit - 40w Dual Actinic Bulb + 40w Dual Daylight Bulb
Stealth Heater
Current USA SubCurrent Skimmer
Korilia Nano
10 pounds of live sand
Approx 12-13 pounds of live rock

Livestock:
3 Astrea Snails
1 Stomatella Snail
3 Red Leg Hermit Crabs
6 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs

2 Purple Firefish
Yellow Watchman goby
Japanese Pistol Shrimp
This tank is currently stocked to its max I believe, but its going to be transferred into a BC29 in a few weeks.

Green Star Polyps
Frogspawn
Green Hydnophora
Galaxy Blue Zoas? (not sure exactly what type of zoa's but that’s what they look like)

Anyway, here’s some pics from first set, through each addition and a current FTS. Let me know what you think.

sorry for the BIG pictures, and incase you cant tell I’m currently fighting some GHA my snails are going to town on it right now, and I’m considering doing a black out (3 days with no light) as I was told this would weaken the GHA. Is a black out going to affect any of my corals though?

Thanks guys!

Hey looks great corals look like they are doing well. I also have a nano tank it's a 20 gallon and I would warn you do not add anymore fish you will risk something spiking in the tank. And be careful when you feed not to feed to much. But I am a huge fan of nanos (they are cheaper) but tank looks good.

ya, im not planning on buy any more any time soon.. not until i get it moved into a bigger tank this summer. I think i've had a problem over feeding these last few days i switched foods and thats actually what i think caused the GHA to come back. My astreas are doing a great job of taking care of it but im gonna cut back on the food a wee bit as well.

I really like it though, I am a big fan of nanos as well. I started with a 20L and am finally moving up to a...... Well I will be posting pictures tonight or tomorrow

Glad you don't plan on adding anymore fish, that would not settle well with the tank! haha
